Innovation

Criteria

Judges will be looking for a business of any size which has adopted a creative and imaginative approach to keep ahead of the competition. Innovation can be presented in terms of product development, a fresh approach to service provision or in terms of partnership working. Crucially, this award will be seeking examples of innovation that make good use of the resources of the Highlands and Islands.
The successful projects will be those which have undertaken good market research, explored the competition and have planned their investment with care. The overall success of the initiative should have been monitored and evidence has to be available.

Essential Entry Information:
  • Total entry to be no more that 750 words
  • Supporting materials should be provided to accompany the completed entry form for Innovation
  • Entry forms sent by email will not be accepted
  • This ‘Innovation’ entry form must be completed and returned to the address below with supporting materials to arrive no later than 5pm on Friday 29th August 2008
  • Entries received after 5pm on Friday 29th August will not be accepted
  • Entries and supporting materials cannot be returned to the sender
